The Position:
Our Telecommunications Client, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join their Calgary team as this is an onsite opportunity.
What You'll Do:
- Support the development and lead the execution of strategic business development plans targeting enterprise-level customers in the telecom industry.
- Identify and prioritize potential business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand the company's presence in the telecom sector.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-level executives, key decision-makers, and stakeholders across Senior Housing, Hospitality, and High-Density Multifamily buildings to foster collaboration and achieve revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, and finance to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business development processes, enhance efficiency, and maximize results.
- Achieving growth targets by driving pipeline development and conversion, ensuring to meets or exceeds revenue goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and establish thought leadership in the telecom space.
Mandatories (Must haves to qualify):
- Minimum 5-years in Telecommunication and Sales
- Experience in Senior Housing, Hospitality, and High-Density Multifamily buildings would be an asset
- Post-secondary Degree or equivalent experience
Skills and Attributes:
- You are a hunter who is continuously engaged with their portfolio of clients and skilled in adapting strategies to meet the unique needs of diverse client portfolios.
- Adept in understanding technology and communicating with individuals at the IT management and CTO level.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on market trends to develop new business opportunities.
