The Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams Specialist to join our team in Edmonton. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams solutions for various organizations, ensuring seamless connectivity and user experience. Your work will play a crucial role in supporting regulatory reporting and enhancing business processes for our client companies. Please let us know if you prefer contract or perm!
What You'll Do:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams solutions.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows to support business processes.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Teams channels, permissions, and integrations.
- Deploy and manage Teams Devices, ensuring seamless connectivity and user experience.
- Develop, deploy, and manage Teams Apps to enhance functionality and user engagement.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Teams Phone, including call routing, voicemail, and conferencing solutions.
- Oversee the deployment and management of Teams and SharePoint policies to ensure compliance and security.
- Generate and analyze reports on Teams and SharePoint usage, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams issues.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on best practices and new features.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing SharePoint Online solutions.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams architecture and administration.
- Experience with Teams Devices, Teams Apps, and Teams Phone.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications in SharePoint and Teams are highly desirable.
