Our client is hiring a commercially capable Executive Assistant to act as the operational right hand to their Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in a high-growth fintech environment.

 

This is not a traditional administrative EA role. This position requires someone who understands how payments work, how deals move, how merchant agreements are structured, and how commercial momentum is maintained.

  

You will play a direct role in ensuring negotiations progress, sales pipelines remain active, internal departments stay aligned, and no commercial opportunity stalls due to lack of follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Proven EA / PA experience supporting senior leadership.
  • Experience within fintech, payments, PSP, acquiring, or regulated financial services.
  • Strong understanding of payment flows and commercial deal structures.
  • Exposure to merchant onboarding and commercial negotiations.
  • Ability to confidently follow up with senior stakeholders and drive accountability.
  • Strong Excel and Google Workspace capability.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  

Strong Advantage

  • iGaming or high-risk merchant exposure.
  • Experience coordinating international business travel and conference planning
  • SDR/ Lead generation experience

  

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central coordination point between the CCO and internal departments.
  • Track negotiations and proactively follow up on stalled discussions.
  • Monitor merchant onboarding progression and ensure accountability across teams.
  • Attend meetings, take structured minutes, and drive action-point execution.
  • Identify delays in deal flow and escalate or follow up to maintain commercial continuity.
  • Represent the CCO in internal meetings when required.
  • Own all international travel logistics for the CCO — including booking flights, accommodation, transport, and ensuring a fully structured itinerary for conferences and client meetings.
  • Coordinate conference schedules in advance to ensure productive pipelines during travel.
  • Support the overall operational efficiency of the commercial function.
