Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities locally while supporting various HR operations. This role combines recruitment with operational HR responsibilities and plays a key part in maintaining HR compliance, supporting employees, and ensuring smooth site-level HR processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1- 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and handle local HR operations independently.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HRIS systems is an advantage
  • A hands-on, self-motivated, and team-oriented professional with attention to detail.

  

Responsibilities

  • Handle full-cycle recruitment efforts, from sourcing and interviewing to offer stage and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create effective recruitment plans.
  • Support local hiring needs by managing recruitment reports and data.
  • Run day-to-day HR administrative tasks for the Cape Town office, including documentation, contracts, and employee file management.
  • Handle and run the site-level payroll process and ensure accuracy and timely delivery in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Ensure all HR practices in comply with local labor laws and internal company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Serve as a point of contact for local employees on general HR-related inquiries and operational support.
  • Promote a positive candidate and employee experience throughout all interactions.
  • Stay informed about best practices in talent acquisition and local employment trends.
  • Manage office facilities and workplace arrangements to ensure an efficient and employee friendly working environment.
