Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.
Role Overview
We currently have a vacancy for an Systems Engineer (DevOps,Linux) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Strasbourg, France. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Location: Strasbourg, France.
Workplace: Onsite

Requirements
- University degree in IT, preferably in computer science, combined with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Proven experience in project management;
- Experience as Linux System Engineer (Debian, RHEL, RockyLinux, Ubuntu);
- Experience with DevOps,CI/CD pipelines, scripting(Python/Bash) and cloud(Azure/AWS);
- Good knowledge of web hosting under Apache/nGinx/Traefik;
- Good knowledge of backup, virtualization and paravirtualization, Docker Swarm, Portainer;
- Good knowledge of Puppet, Terraform, and Ansible;
- Good knowledge of Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Minio, Thanos, OpenTelemetry;
- Good knowledge of ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Syslog-ng components;
- Knowledge of networking, Netfilter, Strongswan and troubleshooting;
- Knowledge of authentication/identification, SAMLv2, OpenID Connect;
- Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases;
- Monitoring of POC phases and user support for system issues;
- Excellent command of the English and French language.
