DevSecOps Expert (Information Technology/Software)

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

 

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for a DevSecOps Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 3 years’ of experience with IT operations or a similar role;
• Excellent experience with deployment management;
• Excellent experience with scripting (i.e. Python, Bash, PowerShell);
• Excellent experience with cloud platforms (i.e AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet);
• Knowledge of Atlassian Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket;
• Knowledge of Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab;
• Knowledge of CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI;
• Knowledge of Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace;
• At least one of the following certifications is required:
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent;
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent;
• Excellent command of the English language.

   

Responsibilities

• Manage deployments in Acceptance (ACC) and Production (PROD) environments;
• Work closely with Development, QA, and DevSecOps teams to ensure smooth deployments;
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues;
• Manage server, storage, and network configurations;
• Maintain an incident log and prepare incident reports;
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members;
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
