Role overview
As the Country Manager, you will be at the helm of our client's operations in Tanzania
This role requires a visionary leader with at least 15 years of experience in sales, along with a profound understanding of the payments industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in fintech or banking sectors and be adept at driving growth and maximizing market potential.

Requirements
A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in sales, with significant leadership roles.
Proven experience in the payment industry, fintech, or banking is essential.
Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field; MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our client’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the country.
Lead and motivate a high-performing team to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team.
Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
Build trusted relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders.
Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
Monitor financial performance to ensure the company achieves its financial goals and manage budgets to maximize profitability.
Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company.
