Role Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will analyze marketing data to provide actionable insights, improve campaign performance, and support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the marketing team to drive data-driven strategies and enhance their understanding of customer behavior. You will also work very closely with the Data Team to help enhance their Data Platform. You will have direct access to the Data Architect, Analysts and Engineers to ensure they build a well-structured, dynamic and durable data ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a marketing context.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Metabase).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics, Mixpanel, Braze).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Management: Work with the Data Team to gather, clean, and maintain marketing data from various sources, including CRM systems, social media platforms, and web analytics tools.
  • Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and overall marketing performance to identify trends and insights.
  • Reporting & Visualisation: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that present findings in a clear and actionable manner for stakeholders.
  • Campaign Performance Evaluation: Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, including email, social media, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Customer Insights: Conduct market research and analyze customer data to understand preferences, behaviors, and engagement patterns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to support data-driven strategies and initiatives.
  • A/B Testing: Design and analyze A/B tests to optimize marketing efforts and enhance conversion rates.
  • Performance Metrics Development: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of marketing activities.
