Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Information Technology/Software)

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

  

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;
• At least 3 years of experience with DevOps container or serverless /orchestration tools (ie: Docker, Ansible, Terrafom, buildpacks, Kubernetes, etc.);
• Very Good knowledge in establishing and managing deployment pipeline and release management (ie: Bamboo, Puppet);
• Good knowledge in JAVA, Angular;
• Good knowledge in black box and white box testing (OWASP, HP Fortify, etc.);
• Good knowledge with Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus etc.);
• Good knowledge in the Cloud (Aws, Azure, Google, OVH etc.);
• Good knowledge in conducting DevSecOps in an agile work environment;
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade DevSecOps pipelines;
• Facilitate the continuous delivery of IT applications by using Application Lifecycle Management and automation tools;
• Promote the usage of DevSecOps methodologies for IT projects;
• Architect and design API Security, Container Security, Cloud Security;
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers.
