Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

 

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Junior Support Consultant fluent in English, to offer to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. Requirements

  • University degree combined with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Experience with XML Schema/XSD and HTML;
  • Good knowledge of databases and data models;
  • Knowledge of test management, structured reporting, and quality assurance practices;
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence;
  • Knowledge of the Akoma Ntoso standard, IMMC, or legal metadata would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.

  

Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyse business specifications to ensure clarity and alignment with workflow requirements;
  • Review and interpret the technical specifications of the reception systems;
  • Handle and process zipped packages, XML, and HTML files as part of data validation and workflow troubleshooting;
  • Compare consolidation data across test and production environments to ensure accuracy and consistency;
  • Execute test cases rigorously and document the status of each test in a clear, structured manner;
  • Identify, analyse, and document issues and anomalies in the workflow, and report them for review;
  • Propose and help implement tools and methods for improved documentation, issue tracking, and test-case follow-up;
  • Contribute to various data- and production-related tasks within the sector;
  • Work with front-end IT systems and digital content in multiple formats;
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members and help maintain high standards of quality control.
